Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

About the role
The Manufacturing Engineering Specialist will support the manufacturing team at Price Electronics' modern facility in Winnipeg, ensuring high‑quality electronic assemblies are delivered on time while reducing cost and improving production efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Implement, facilitate, and participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Lead or contribute to Continuous Improvement (CI) meetings and drive cross‑functional actions to resolve issues.
- Create standard work instructions and train personnel to reduce inconsistencies.
- Monitor and measure processes to verify that time standards are efficient and realistic.
- Validate process flow, space requirements, and equipment layout, initiating actions to improve manufacturing flow.
- Design testing methods, test finished products and process capabilities, and establish quality standards.
- Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Required profile
- Proven ability to develop and train on standard work instructions.
- Experience monitoring process efficiency and validating manufacturing flow.
- Strong analytical skills for collecting and summarizing production data.
- Capability to lead or support continuous improvement initiatives across functional groups.
