Managing Editor (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Managing Editor to support AI research teams on a short‑term contract. The role is fully remote and involves creating and refining editorial deliverables that improve training data and model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality deliverables that address common editorial requests within your domain of expertise.
• Review and enhance peer‑generated content to ensure it meets AI research standards.
• Work independently and asynchronously, meeting weekly deadlines while maintaining rigorous grammar and spelling quality.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to improve training data quality and downstream model outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as an editor or in a related field.
• Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to grammar and spelling.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment and manage a 30–40 hour weekly workload.
• Immediate availability to start.
