About the role
This temporary, 12‑month Management Consultant position supports senior leadership with strategy development, business planning, and organizational redesign. Based at Metro Hall in Toronto, the role focuses on delivering actionable insights and improving service delivery across multiple programs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed plans, policies, and procedures for program‑specific requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and the Contract Management team to map current processes, identify pain points, and recommend best‑practice improvements, including potential system integrations.
- Provide policy analysis and strategic advice to senior managers and commissioners.
- Define project scope, objectives, methodology, and activities in consultation with clients and key stakeholders.
- Collect and analyse data, draw conclusions, and propose alternative solutions.
- Create executive dashboards, prepare briefing materials, and facilitate stakeholder discussions.
- Support project steering committees and lead cross‑functional working groups.
- Temporarily assume managerial responsibilities during organizational change transitions.
- Document new processes, templates, SOPs, and training materials.
Required profile
- Proven experience in consulting, strategy development, or organizational design.
- Strong analytical abilities with a track record of data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working in a public‑sector or large‑scale enterprise environment is preferred.

What we offer
- Competitive salary range of $105,241 – $160,649 CAD per year.
- Full‑time, 35‑hour work week with Monday‑Friday schedule.
