Management Consultant – Independent Practice (Canada)

About the role

This opportunity is for experienced management consultants who wish to operate as independent practitioners while being backed by a national consulting brand. Based in Canada, you will build and manage your own practice, leveraging shared resources and a network of senior peers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run an independent consulting practice under an established brand.
• Lead complex client engagements in strategy, organizational design, change management, and operational improvement.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions to diagnose challenges and design solutions.
• Produce high‑quality deliverables such as reports, frameworks, and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior consultants on cross‑functional projects and share expertise across the national network.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive experience in consulting or senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record of leading multi‑stakeholder transformation programs.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow a personal consulting portfolio.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining high delivery standards.
