Maintenance Technician

About the role

Prokey Living, a division of Westbow Group, is looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to support its residential property portfolio in Chilliwack, BC. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will work closely with other technicians, property managers, contractors, and head‑office teams to ensure properties are safe, well‑maintained, and provide an excellent tenant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex troubleshooting and diagnostics for building maintenance issues.
• Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on residential units and common areas.
• Conduct regular unit and property inspections and document findings.
• Carry out light carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and general repairs.
• Assist with mechanical system checks, boiler servicing, and other building systems.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors on‑site.
• Notify tenants of maintenance work and manage access coordination.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and support unit turnovers.
• Participate in after‑hours or weekend emergency response as needed.

Required profile

• Grade 12 diploma; trade training or certification is an asset.
• Strong work ethic with attention to quality and safety.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
• Comfortable working in varied weather and site conditions.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to lift up to 50 lb.
