Maintenance Technician

About the role

Hotel Arts is looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to join its Engineering & Facilities team. You will ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the hotel's infrastructure, supporting guests and protecting the long‑term integrity of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of mechanical rooms, equipment and building infrastructure using the PMXpert maintenance management system.
• Monitor critical building systems, identify deficiencies and carry out adjustments or repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues and complete preventive and corrective work orders.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments, guests and commercial tenants.
• Carry out routine repairs such as plumbing, drywall, painting, carpentry and hardware replacement.
• Assist with equipment shutdowns, isolations and emergency response procedures.
• Operate the building fire alarm panel and support fire & life‑safety systems.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure safe, minimally disruptive work.
• Maintain organized workshops, inventory of spare parts and detailed shift logs.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies.

Required profile

• Mechanically inclined, safety‑focused professional with strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance within hospitality, healthcare, institutional or multi‑residential environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a facilities team.
