Maintenance Technician – Hotel Operations

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team in Quebec City. You will respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure all building systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Carry out minor repairs such as painting, drywall, wood trim, and landscaping.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities using approved communication tools.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all safety policies.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, ventilation, and minor repairs.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site and be available as needed.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and strong teamwork orientation.
