Luxury Retail Team Manager

About the role

As a Luxury Retail Team Manager for Gucci at Holt Renfrew Yorkdale, you will lead a team of Client Advisors on the sales floor, delivering the brand’s iconic service standards and driving business results. You will spend most of your time interacting with clients, coaching staff, and executing the store’s strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to provide a superior client experience, ensuring hospitality and an elevated attitude.
• Capture and leverage client data using clienteling tools to build personalized relationships and drive loyalty.
• Monitor and improve Client Advisor performance through daily, weekly and monthly coaching plans.
• Organize and support local events and product launches, aiming for strong client attendance and sales.
• Manage client flow on the selling floor, resolve service issues, and uphold Gucci’s image and grooming standards.
• Develop deep knowledge of local competition, trends and prospects to inform sales strategies.
• Conduct performance and development conversations, providing regular feedback and career guidance.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a luxury or high‑end retail environment.
• Strong client‑centric mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to work on the sales floor and lead by example.
• Knowledge of local market trends and competitor landscape.
