About the role

The Halton Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified Long‑Term Occasional (LTO) teacher to provide full‑time Kindergarten instruction. This position supports the Board’s commitment to inclusive, Catholic education for students in the Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville areas.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Kindergarten curriculum in accordance with the Ontario Education Act and Board policies.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and faith‑based classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and families to meet student learning needs.

Required profile

• Preference given to unplaced, qualified redundant teachers from the Elementary Teacher bargaining group.
