Lower Elementary Teaching Position

About the role

Fredericton Montessori Academy is seeking a dedicated Lower Elementary Teacher to join its growing team in September 2024. The successful candidate will deliver Montessori‑based education to children in the lower elementary age range, contributing to a collaborative, team‑oriented environment as the school expands its early years programme.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality Montessori instruction to lower elementary students.
• Work closely with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a supportive classroom community.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the school’s early‑years curriculum as the institution grows.

Required profile

• Elementary Montessori Teaching Diploma accredited by MACTE.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Montessori experience (preferred but not mandatory).
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification.
• Up‑to‑date criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening and social development check.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
