About the role
The Waterloo Region District School Board is seeking a qualified secondary Math teacher for three Long‑Term Occasional (LTO) sections (1.0 FTE) at Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute. The assignment runs from September 2, 2026 through February 2, 2027, with September 4, 2026 designated as an unpaid, non‑teaching day.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the secondary Math curriculum to assigned classes in accordance with Ontario curriculum standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials for each LTO section.
- Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance.
- Collaborate with school staff and support the learning environment.
- Adhere to school policies, including equity, inclusion, and safety protocols.
Required profile
- Hold a valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification (OCT) in Mathematics.
- Be eligible for a Long‑Term Occasional appointment with the WRDSB.
- Be listed on the WRDSB Occasional Teacher Roster or be an external applicant meeting the qualifications.
- Submit a current Certificate of Qualification and resume through the Apply to Education portal by the stated deadline.
