About the role
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across long distances. Ensure vehicle safety and compliance through regular inspections and record-keeping.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; oversee vehicle condition.
- Perform emergency roadside repairs.
- Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Class 1/1F/A licence (semi‑trailer trucks) with Air Brake (Z) endorsement.
- Experience is an asset.
