Long Haul Truck Driver – Full Time

About the role

The company is seeking a reliable long‑haul truck driver to join its team in East St. Paul. You will operate straight‑ or articulated trucks on provincial and inter‑provincial routes, delivering dry bulk and refrigerated goods while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and adjust routes using GPS and navigation systems to minimise fuel consumption and emissions.
• Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy, operating straight‑ or articulated trucks to transport dry bulk and refrigerated goods.
• Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections, oversee vehicle condition, and conduct emergency roadside repairs.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel usage, and communicate with central dispatch.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Valid Class 1/1F/A licence for semi‑trailer trucks.
• Physical ability to handle loads up to 23 kg, sit for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Valid passport, clean criminal record and driving record.

Required skills

• Operation of GPS and other navigation equipment.
• Knowledge of bill of lading, driver logbook and inspection reports.
