Long Haul Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable long‑haul driver to operate tractor‑trailer rigs on inter‑provincial routes, delivering cargo safely and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, cold‑storage equipment and perform brake adjustments.
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and oversee preventive maintenance.
• Communicate with central dispatch, recording cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Prepare and manage documentation such as accident reports, bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection reports and trans‑border paperwork.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of long‑haul driving experience with a valid Class 1/1F/A licence and Air‑brakes endorsement.
• Pass a driving record check and drug test; possess a valid passport.
• Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and overtime.
• Demonstrated reliability, good judgement and ability to work as part of a team.

Required skills

• Air Brakes endorsement.
• Class 1/1F/A licence for semi‑trailer trucks.
• Proficient operation of GPS and other navigation equipment.
