Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will manage the flow of components and raw materials from receipt to shipment at Safran Landing Systems' Mirabel plant, which produces landing‑gear parts for major aircraft programs. The role ensures inventory reliability, supports production launches, and coordinates with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely receipt, storage, packaging, and shipping of parts.
• Coordinate information exchange between internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Propose and implement tools and actions to smooth workload peaks and maintain operational continuity.
• Monitor daily operational metrics (costs, quality, deadlines, HSE) and track transport and customs processes.
• Maintain stock organization according to storage and 5S rules; act as GDA correspondent for the receiving‑shipping department.
• Ensure system inventories match physical stock through regular inventories and discrepancy reporting.
• Manage aeronautical parts warehouse and support business continuity plans.
• Handle local and international shipping, process transport invoices, and resolve transport disputes and non‑conformities.
• Prepare monthly budget variance analysis and support QRQC/RPO processes.

Required profile

• DEC (or equivalent) in production management, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in continuous improvement or logistics within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of MRP2 principles and basic APICS supply‑chain concepts.
• Fluent in French and English for communication with Safran sites and partners.
