Locum Pediatric Neurologist – 1-year term

About the role
The Department of Pediatrics at CHEO, University of Ottawa is seeking a full‑time locum Pediatric Neurologist for a one‑year term beginning July 2026. The physician will join the Division of Neurology to deliver comprehensive neurological care to infants and children across Ottawa and surrounding regions, and will have opportunities to engage in research and teaching activities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultation services for acute and chronic neurological disorders in children.
- Participate in on‑call coverage for evenings and weekends as required.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in specialized clinics such as epilepsy, movement disorders, and neuromuscular disorders.
Required profile
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Neurology) certification or equivalent international training.
- Medical degree (MD) and eligibility for Ontario medical licensure.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French is considered an asset.
- Commitment to academic research, education, and departmental initiatives.
