Live-in Child Caregiver (Full-time)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated live‑in caregiver to provide full‑time child care for a family in Calgary. The role involves caring for infants and children, ensuring their safety, health, and development while living on‑site with the family. The caregiver will live with the family, providing flexible support during early mornings, evenings, and daytime as needed. This position offers a stable, permanent full‑time schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas.
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• Discipline children according to parents' methods.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Keep records of daily activities and health information.
• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Supervise and care for children throughout the day.
• Transport children to and from school and appointments.
• Support the emotional well‑being of the children.
• Assist with homework and educational activities.
• Organize playtime and recreational activities.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi or Punjabi is an asset.
• Prior experience in child care is an asset.
