About the role

The Liquor Store Supervisor will lead daily operations at the Inuvik Liquor Store, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient store management. This role combines staff leadership, inventory control, and cash handling responsibilities in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate staff, including apprentices and sales workers, assigning duties and managing schedules.
  • Hire, train, and arrange ongoing training for team members.
  • Order merchandise, authorize returns, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Prepare and analyse sales reports, merchandising data, and personnel metrics.
  • Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages promptly.
  • Manage cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with store policies.
  • Sell merchandise and meet sales targets.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels.

Required profile

  • Secondary school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of retail supervisory experience.
  • Experience working in a retail service establishment.
