Liquor Store Sales Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Sales Clerk to join our liquor store team in Enderby. The role involves handling transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining product displays in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will work closely with store management to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payments and operate the cash register.
• Use computerized inventory and re‑ordering systems to track stock levels.
• Provide product advice and excellent customer service to shoppers.
• Assist in arranging and maintaining merchandise displays.
• Greet customers, discuss product types, quality, and quantities, and help them make purchase decisions.
• Process returns and exchanges in accordance with store policy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 1 to less than 7 months of retail or sales experience.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Strong communication abilities to interact with diverse customers.
• Ability to work flexible hours in a team‑oriented environment.
