Library Page – Part‑time

About the role

Libraries build community. At Regina Public Library we’re on a mission to provide Regina residents with opportunities to discover, learn and connect in an inclusive, customer‑centred, and safe environment, and we need a Library Page to help keep our collections organized.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, shelve and shelf‑read library materials, and reconcile request pull lists.
• Pull items for weeding, process withdrawn materials and maintain the branch book‑sale area.
• Conduct inventory of collections and manage outgoing bins, including packing and labeling.
• Set up rooms for programs and perform minor cleaning of public areas and equipment.
• Replenish paper supplies in copiers and printers, empty bins and book drops.
• Answer or direct patron queries where appropriate and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 10 education.
• Ability to organize materials using numerical and alphabetical sequences.
• Physically fit to perform shelving, lifting and moving tasks.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent, high‑quality customer service.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with the public and staff.
