About the role

The Faculty of Management at the University of British Columbia Okanagan campus seeks a full‑time Lecturer for a one‑year term to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources. The appointment begins on July 1, 2026 (or an agreed date) and offers the opportunity to contribute to a vibrant academic community.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver eight courses (or equivalents) across the 12‑month period, including Intro to OB, Strategic Staffing, Training & Development, Strategic Compensation, and Human Resource Management.
  • Participate in curriculum development, teaching initiatives, and administrative duties within the Faculty of Management.
  • Engage in collegial events, workshops, and external outreach activities.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching excellence and student mentorship.

Required profile

  • Near‑completion or completed PhD in Organizational Behaviour or Human Resources from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited business school.
  • C.P.H.R. designation preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and clear communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and a commitment to a positive work environment.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.
