Learning & Development Specialist (4‑Month Contract)

About the role

Holt Renfrew is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist on a four‑month contract to design, develop and deliver learner‑centric solutions that support onboarding, capability building and performance improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support a team of learning professionals to deliver solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Manage all stages of the learning lifecycle – strategy, curriculum design, content creation, delivery support, measurement and maintenance.
• Apply adult‑learning principles and the 70/20/10 framework to all solutions.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure adherence across programs.
• Collaborate closely with Learning Partners, HR Business Partners and HR COE communities.
• Evaluate and measure the efficiency of training programs and methodologies.
• Identify, engage and partner with vendors to deliver high‑quality learning solutions.
• Provide timely reporting on individual results and L&D metrics.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in adult education, human resources, organizational development or related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in HR or learning, focusing on training, talent development and adult learning.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with rapid eLearning development tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise 360).
• Intermediate proficiency with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite).
