Learning & Development Facilitator – Contract

About the role

We are looking for a Learning & Development Facilitator to design, deliver and continuously improve training for our Advisor Network and internal partners. The role is contract‑based until 31 December 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver training material in live (in‑person and virtual), written and eLearning formats.
• Support and train internal and external stakeholders on the IPC Technology Suite, business practices and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of current business processes across units and the investment industry.
• Present at advisor events such as the IPC Fall Conference and regional conferences.
• Collaborate with internal partners to map and document business processes.
• Design training modules using needs‑based analysis and conduct periodic content audits.
• Drive process improvements and report progress to business units.
• Perform administrative tasks required for day‑to‑day management.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a training or learning‑development role, preferably within financial services.
• Strong understanding of adult‑learning principles and e‑learning design.
• Ability to build long‑term relationships and work collaboratively with internal partners.
• Excellent critical‑thinking and judgment when serving clients.
• Effective time‑management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Undergraduate degree in Business or related field is an asset.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC certification is advantageous.
