Lead Back End Developer – Digital Banking

About the role

RBC Digital is building the next generation of digital banking experiences. We are looking for a Lead Back End Developer to join an autonomous, agile squad that delivers client‑facing services on a modern hybrid‑cloud platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance, scalable APIs for internal and external applications.
• Collaborate with product, design and other engineering teams to model new API interfaces.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines, implement unit and functional testing, and drive continuous delivery.
• Mentor and coach junior developers, promote best practices and code reusability.
• Identify efficiency gains and contribute to the evolution of the platform architecture.
