Laundry Facility Production Worker/Delivery Driver

About the role

The company is seeking a reliable individual to work in its laundry facility while also handling deliveries to customers. The role combines production tasks such as sorting, washing and folding garments with safe transportation of clean items across townships and job sites.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, load, unload and operate industrial‑size washing machines and dryers.
• Fold, label, package and prepare clean garments, mats and linens for delivery.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and keep the work area clean.
• Drive company vehicle in all weather conditions, conduct vehicle checks, refuel and maintain accurate mileage records.
• Load and unload delivery bins, distribute items to customers and ensure timely deliveries.

Required profile

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Valid “G” driver’s licence with a clean abstract and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check and drug test.
• Physically fit to lift up to 50 lb regularly and handle laundry bins up to 200 lb.

Required skills

• Sewing and basic garment repair (or willingness to learn).
• Preventative maintenance of industrial laundry equipment.
• Operating large washing machines, dryers and related machinery.
