Landscaping Supervisor

About the role

Stewart Tree Farms LTD is seeking an experienced Landscaping Supervisor to lead outdoor planting, construction, and maintenance projects in the Calgary area. You will manage a crew of 5‑10 workers, coordinate schedules, and ensure high‑quality delivery of tree, garden, and lawn installations.

Key responsibilities

• Direct planting of trees, gardens, and lawns and organize related work schedules.
• Plan, manage, and supervise construction of decks, decorative features, and retaining walls.
• Supervise staff, perform routine maintenance, and operate heavy equipment.
• Execute tree pruning techniques such as crown cleaning, thinning, and reduction.
• Handle snow removal tasks and ensure site safety, including driving‑record checks.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in landscaping, tree service, or related construction.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 23 kg, standing for long periods, bending, kneeling).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract.
• Strong client focus, reliability, and organizational skills.
