Landscape Construction Labourer

About the role

Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc is seeking enthusiastic Landscape Construction Labourers to join a seasonal team in the Edmonton area. You will travel to multiple job sites, working outdoors to create and maintain parks, trails, and other green spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Transport and spread topsoil, plant sod, shrubs, flowers, and trees.
• Construct landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Operate hand and power tools for grading, digging, and building.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, following all safety protocols.

Required profile

• Reliable attendance with a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift and transport items up to 50 lb.
• Class 5 driver’s licence and personal vehicle.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.

Required skills

• CSTS 2020 certification (may be provided).
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Proficiency with power tools.
