Laboratory Assistant (Full‑Time Contract)

About the role

Dynacare is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join its Woodbridge health services centre. You will process blood and other specimens, enter requisitions and results accurately, and provide compassionate customer service to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Collect quality blood samples using venipuncture techniques.
• Perform ECGs, Holter hookups, paternity testing, urine, drug and breath‑alcohol collections.
• Sort and label specimens, ensure compliance with SOPs, and transport samples to the laboratory.
• Enter patient and test data for Ministry of Health requisitions with high accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
• Support departmental quality metrics and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Completed secondary school.
• Successful completion of a Laboratory Assistant training program or equivalent Medical Laboratory education.
