Lab Helper for Anatomy Workshop (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a Lab Helper to support a half‑day cadaveric anatomy workshop for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy clinicians at McGill University. The role is part‑time, on‑site, and runs for one month.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate anatomical structures using prosections at an assigned station.
• Differentiate target structures from adjacent ones.
• Prepare and administer quiz questions covering attachment points, innervation and function.
• Answer clinicians’ questions on the clinical relevance of the structures.
• Provide clinical insight on injury or degeneration implications for specific populations.

Required profile

• BSc in Rehabilitation Science (Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy) or equivalent.
• Previous laboratory experience with human anatomy, preferably as a prosector, anatomy tutor or UCA for ANAT 315/316.
• Clinical experience in hand therapy or pelvic‑floor physiotherapy is an asset.
• Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.

Required skills

• Proficiency in demonstrating cadaveric anatomy using prosections.
• Ability to design and deliver anatomy‑focused quizzes.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, innervation and functional attachments.
