Kotlin Multiplatform Developer (Mid-Level)

About the role

PolarisMail is building a next‑generation cross‑platform application using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP). As a mid‑level Kotlin Multiplatform Developer you will join an existing team to implement new features, maintain shared modules, and help evolve the core architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain application features with Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Contribute to shared business‑logic, domain, and data layers.
• Implement integrations following internal contracts and service abstractions.
• Ensure code quality through unit tests, code reviews, and refactoring.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior KMP Developer to follow standards and improve architecture, performance, and maintainability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Kotlin expertise and hands‑on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with a Dependency Injection framework (e.g., Koin, Dagger, Hilt, Metro, kotlin‑inject, Anvil).
• Proficiency in unit testing, CI pipelines, and Git‑based workflows (MR/PR).
