About the role
We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Helper to join our team at Houston Pizza in Moose Jaw. The role involves supporting daily kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting with food preparation in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, carts, waste disposal units, and all kitchen surfaces.
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware, then store them properly.
- Package take‑out orders, portion and wrap foods for service.
- Stock refrigerators, freezers, salad bars and other storage areas.
- Receive, unpack and store supplies in appropriate locations.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain clean floors by sweeping, mopping and polishing.
- Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit for meal preparation.
- Assist with general kitchen upkeep, including cupboards and equipment.
Required profile
- Team player who can collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Physically able to handle demanding tasks, stand for long periods and work under pressure.
