Kitchen Helper – Full-time Permanent Position

About the role

We are seeking a Kitchen Helper to join our team at EGGS AND CO in Sedgewick, Alberta. This full‑time permanent position supports daily food service operations, ensuring cleanliness, food preparation, and timely service in a fast‑paced rural kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas, set tables and clear them after use.
• Operate dishwashers, hand‑wash and scour pots, pans, and kitchenware, and store them properly.
• Prepare, heat, portion, wrap and package simple food items, and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, floors and waste disposal units, handling cleaning products safely.

Required profile

• Physically able to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg, stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
• Team‑player with reliable attendance, initiative, multitasking ability and a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Experience operating a conventional oven.
• Experience using a deep fryer.
• Experience with food dispensers.
• Experience operating a grill.
