Kitchen Helper – Food Prep & Take‑out Support

About the role

Milos Greek Taverna is seeking a Kitchen Helper to support food preparation and take‑out packaging at its Harrison Hot Springs location. The role involves assisting the kitchen team with a variety of basic tasks to ensure smooth service.

Key responsibilities

• Package take‑out food orders accurately.
• Portion and wrap foods for customers.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
• Stock refrigerators, freezers and salad bars.
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in appropriate storage areas.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations.
• Assist chefs with basic cooking tasks.

Required profile

• Experience an asset, but not mandatory.
• Flexible hours to accommodate varying schedules.
• No Canadian work experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to learn food safety standards.
