About the role
We are looking for a Kitchen Helper to support daily operations in our café, handling cleaning, food preparation and basic service tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units.
- Load buspans and trays.
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
- Prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
- Handle and store cleaning products.
- Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
- Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
Required profile
- No experience required – training provided.
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
- Availability for morning, evening, day or weekend shifts.
Required skills
- Dishwasher operation.
- Basic food preparation.
- Cleaning and sanitation procedures.
