Kindergarten Associate Teacher

About the role

Mulgrave Independent School is seeking a passionate Junior School Associate Teacher for Kindergarten. You will work in a collaborative, technology‑rich environment that follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of engaging daily learning experiences.
• Differentiate and personalize instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
• Provide academic, social, and emotional support for students.
• Contribute to assessment, evaluation, and progress reporting.
• Maintain an organized, welcoming classroom environment.
• Assist with before‑ and after‑school care supervision and co‑curricular programmes.
• Participate in collaborative planning, staff meetings, and professional learning.

Required profile

• Legally entitled to work in Canada and meet BC teaching certification requirements.
• Hold a valid, age‑appropriate First Aid Certificate.
• Strong desire to work with children and grow an education career.
• Engage with current educational research and use technology to enhance learning.
• Demonstrate flexibility, collaboration, initiative and openness to feedback.

What we offer

• Salary of $61,800 per year.
• Retention bonus of $7,500 payable in three instalments.
