About the role
Join a family‑focused, 30‑year‑old Quebec company that produces prepared meals and ready‑to‑eat foods. Reporting directly to the President, you will act as a trusted business partner for strategic, English‑speaking customers, driving sales growth and long‑term relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, primarily English‑speaking customers.
- Deliver high‑level customer service and maintain lasting business relationships.
- Identify growth opportunities by presenting new products and developing new business.
- Plan and participate in strategic meetings and commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate customer requirements with internal departments.
- Conduct regular follow‑ups on performance, forecasts, and evolving needs.
- Negotiate, manage, and optimise promotional programs within budget and calendar constraints.
- Proactively resolve customer issues and ensure timely follow‑up.
- Prepare sales reports and analyses.
Required profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in key account management within the food industry or CPG sector.
- Experience managing retail chains or major accounts is a strong asset.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Customer‑ and results‑oriented mindset with analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Availability for occasional travel.
