Junior/Intermediate Grade 6/7 Teacher (Full-time)

About the role

The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified teacher to join St. Mary's School in Hagersville. This permanent, full‑time position is for a junior/intermediate educator responsible for teaching Grade 6 and Grade 7 students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess curriculum for Grade 6 and Grade 7 classes.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date teaching portfolio, including additional qualifications.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support a Christ‑centered learning environment.
• Participate in board‑mandated interview and seniority processes.
• Communicate student progress to families and support inclusive practices.

Required profile

• Ontario College of Teachers certification for elementary education.
• Junior or intermediate teaching experience, preferably within a Catholic school system.
• Willingness to adhere to the OECTA collective agreement and board policies.
• Ability to keep a current professional portfolio.
