About the role
We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer with strong Python expertise to join our front‑office engineering team in Montreal. You will work closely with traders and quantitative analysts to develop tools that support real‑time risk assessment, pricing and decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement fast, scalable Python systems that power real‑time risk and pricing calculations.
- Collaborate with quants and traders to translate new risk ideas into production‑ready tools.
- Contribute to the architecture of a unified, next‑generation front‑office risk platform.
Required profile
- 2‑5 years of relevant experience in software development.
- Strong computer‑science fundamentals and solid Python programming skills.
- Curiosity about financial markets and a passion for solving technical and mathematical challenges.
- Team‑oriented attitude with good communication skills.
