Junior Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work side‑by‑side with senior developers, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of high‑quality software solutions while rapidly expanding your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for core applications under senior guidance.
• Assist in debugging, reproducing, and resolving software bugs and performance issues.
• Participate in unit testing and support quality‑assurance processes to ensure reliable releases.
• Engage in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and code reviews, welcoming feedback to improve coding practices.
• Document codebase processes and system features clearly and concisely.
• Continuously explore new technologies and take on increasingly complex tasks as skills grow.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with curiosity and logical thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; not afraid to ask questions when blocked.

Required skills

• Foundational knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or C#.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
• Basic understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL) is a plus.
