Junior Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work side‑by‑side with senior developers, contributing to the design, development and maintenance of high‑quality software while rapidly expanding your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for core applications under senior guidance.
• Assist in debugging, reproducing and resolving software bugs and performance issues.
• Participate in unit testing and support quality‑assurance processes.
• Engage in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning and code reviews, incorporating feedback to improve coding practices.
• Document codebase processes and system features clearly.
• Continuously explore new technologies and take on increasingly complex tasks.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and curiosity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable asking questions when blocked.

Required skills

• Foundational knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript, C++ or C#.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Basic understanding of relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Exposure to modern development frameworks.
