Junior Software Developer – Co‑op Internship

About the role

ROSEN Group is looking for a Junior Software Developer to join its Kelowna team on a 4‑month co‑op/internship. You will gain hands‑on experience supporting machine‑learning‑driven applications within a modern web‑based micro‑services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute test plans aligned with project requirements.
• Assist in drafting and maintaining technical and user documentation.
• Support data engineering, automation, and internal tooling through scripts or small applications.
• Provide application support and troubleshooting for internal teams.
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings and sprint activities.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Computer Science, Software Engineering or related program.
• Basic understanding of software development concepts and programming fundamentals.
• Familiarity with web technologies, scripting languages or data processing tools (asset).
• Strong problem‑solving ability, attention to detail and effective communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Part‑time availability throughout the 4‑month internship.
