Junior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to support our growing Pulp & Paper division. You will work on maintenance, shutdown and capital projects at pulp mills across British Columbia, helping to deliver industrial construction projects safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling and executing industrial construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, materials and documentation.
• Prepare proposals, change orders, project reports and close‑out documentation.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, field superintendents, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Attend site meetings, monitor progress and help resolve challenges.
• Support cost tracking, forecasting and overall project controls.
• Travel to project sites throughout BC (≈30% of the time) to maintain client relationships and support field operations.
• Uphold Health, Safety & Environmental standards on all activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in project coordination or junior project management within industrial, mechanical or construction environments.
• Experience with pulp & paper, mining, refinery, power generation or other heavy‑industrial projects is a strong asset.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation, change orders, scheduling and project controls.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.
