Junior Project Manager – Automation & Manufacturing

About the role

Accenture is looking for a Junior Project Manager to drive automation and manufacturing projects for its supply chain and engineering practice. You will work with world‑class clients across Canada, helping them redesign product development, manufacturing and support processes using digital technologies and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Manage automation project delivery from planning through execution and closeout, including schedules, risks, status reporting and stakeholder coordination.
• Lead large‑scale, complex projects with moderate budgets, ensuring quality, cost, schedule and scope using Agile methodologies.
• Develop and maintain project artifacts such as charters, integrated plans, resource plans and contingency plans while complying with enterprise standards.
• Monitor and control project performance, publish periodic status reports and recommend process adjustments.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of project management experience in automation, controls, manufacturing, distribution or technology delivery.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle and direct interaction with developers.
• Financial management skills for budgeting and P&L tracking.
• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in business administration, commerce or a related discipline.
• Valid passport and ability to travel within Canada, the US and internationally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Project and other project‑management tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Familiarity with MES and automation controls (preferred).
