About the role
The Junior Coordinator, Social Media will join the Marketing and Communications team to support the execution of brand initiatives and digital campaigns for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Reporting to the Manager, Social Media, you will manage day‑to‑day community interactions and help produce engaging social content across multiple channels.
Key responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of content calendars for seven social media lines of business.
- Lead day‑to‑day community management following the PMCF Community Management Playbook.
- Schedule and publish posts to maintain a consistent, always‑on presence.
- Collaborate with the internal creative team to bring campaign concepts and templates to life.
- Draft compelling copy and develop visual assets (static and video) using pre‑approved templates and a curated photography library.
- Apply brand guidelines to ensure cohesive and recognizable content.
- Monitor competitor and peer channels to surface insights, trends, and creative inspiration.
Required profile
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices.
- Passion for purpose‑driven work in a healthcare philanthropy environment.

- Hourly rate of $22.50 CAD.
- 35‑hour work week.
