Junior Cloud Accounting Specialist – Part Time

About the role

Join Baker Tilly as a Junior Cloud Accounting Specialist on a part‑time basis, supporting multiple clients with cloud‑based bookkeeping and accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with routine bookkeeping for multiple clients using cloud‑based tools such as QuickBooks Online, Dext, and Plooto.
• Enter and organize client transactions and supporting documents accurately and on time.
• Support bank and credit card reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other month‑end bookkeeping activities.
• Assist with payroll processing, sales tax filings, and basic financial reports under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Follow documented procedures, checklists, and quality‑control processes.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a college diploma in bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of bookkeeping concepts gained through coursework, volunteer work, or previous employment.
• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience is an asset.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software is an asset; training will be provided.
• Comfort using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other digital tools.
