Junior Business Analyst

About the role

Join the AutoSync team at TRADER, a leading Canadian digital automotive solutions provider. As a Junior Business Analyst you will support data‑driven decision making and help streamline processes for over 3,500 dealerships across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Support data collection, cleaning, validation and analysis to uncover trends and insights.
• Create dashboards and reports using Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI or Tableau.
• Document current (“as‑is”) processes, identify inefficiencies and contribute to design of improved (“to‑be”) workflows.
• Develop Python scripts to automate tasks and build data pipelines, including web‑scraping.
• Gather and document business requirements through workshops, interviews and meetings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions that reduce costs and enhance customer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, IT, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multi‑team environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets proficiency.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for visualisation.
• SQL knowledge for data querying.
• Python programming and familiarity with common Python libraries.
• Understanding of process‑modeling techniques such as BPMN or flowcharts.
• Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum concepts and object‑oriented software design.
