Junior Architectural Technologist

About the role

Akash Homes is looking for a Junior Architectural Technologist to join its fast‑growing residential production drafting team in Edmonton. This position offers a hands‑on opportunity to develop technical drafting skills while supporting the delivery of high‑quality homes across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and revise residential construction drawings using Archicad and related drafting software.
• Modify plans to meet lot conditions, grading requirements, architectural controls, and municipal guidelines.
• Coordinate drawing revisions with engineering consultants and internal departments.
• Support architectural control submissions and respond to revision requests.
• Manage assigned drafting queues and ensure production timelines are met across multiple active projects.
• Collaborate with estimating, construction, sales, and operations teams to support overall project execution.
