Java Developer – Mississauga

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team in Mississauga. You will work on designing, developing, and deploying Java/J2EE applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java/J2EE based applications.
• Implement micro‑services architecture using Spring Boot.
• Work with Spring Data and JPA for data persistence.
• Apply OOP principles and design patterns to produce clean, reusable code.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and track work using JIRA.
• Stay updated with emerging tools, trends, and technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and Java fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience with micro‑services, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and JPA.
• Familiarity with design patterns and best coding practices.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and using JIRA for task management.
