About the role
We are looking for a reliable janitor to join our cleaning team in Vernon on a part‑time basis. The role involves maintaining cleanliness across the facility during evenings and weekends, working with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs.
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
- Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health standards.
Required profile
- Dependable, reliable and organized.
- Excellent oral communication.
- Flexibility, good judgement and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal record check and be bondable.
- Ability to follow safety protocols.
Work environment
- Repetitive tasks that require bending, crouching and kneeling.
- Minimal supervision with evening and weekend shifts.
- Physical work performed under pressure.
