IT Technician – In‑Office Support for Game Development

About the role

We are looking for an IT Technician to join CD PROJEKT RED’s Vancouver studio. You will provide day‑to‑day technical support to developers, designers and other creative staff, ensuring that the hardware and software environment needed to build world‑class games runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support to end‑users via phone, email and in‑person, handling desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues on Windows and macOS platforms.
• Maintain and inventory IT equipment, ordering replacements as needed.
• Manage support tickets in ITSM tools, prioritize work and escalate complex cases.
• Create and update knowledge‑base articles and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with other IT teams on projects and the rollout of new solutions.
• Research and recommend new technologies to improve internal workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Basic knowledge of configuring and administering network devices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Windows OS and macOS.
• In‑depth understanding of PC hardware components.
• Experience with IT service‑management and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira or Zendesk.
• Familiarity with network device configuration and administration.
